I have lived with my parents and paid to do so my entire adult life. I now find myself in the situation of either purchasing the home or becoming homeless. I have had to place my Father at the age of 81 in a long term care facility due to his failing mental and physical health. I can no longer provide the necessary and adequate care required for him at home. The two of us have managed to pay the bills and stay together as a family since then. My Father never addressed the issue of placing the home in my name and now due to having to apply for Medicaid assistance to pay the bulk of the cost for the nursing facility the home is required by State and Federal law to be sold and the proceeds be used for his care until they are exhausted then Medicaid will again pay for the costs. I do not qualify under the current Medicaid laws for my Father to be able to transfer the home to me without losing Medicaid benefits. The home must be placed for sale the first of June 2008 and remain on the market until sold.
It is true that at present time it isn't easy to become a patient of our institute, it costs a lot of money, but we hope that in 10 - 15 years we'll be able to reduce the cost of the vaccine to the acceptable level.

I was getting to a point that I was not functioning - I could barely make it to work and would sleep in the car when I got to the office – just making it through the day was all I could do for months. After breaking down in the doctor’s office they finally did a cat scan and found that I had pulips in my sinuses along with few other issues.
I am trying to finish college so that I can give my daughter a good life. I am striving to show her, by my example, that you can achieve your dreams through hard work and perseverance.
