I know that there are people in this world that have far less than I do and that makes this request for
funding all the more difficult for me to make but I have no other options left to me at this time. I know
that I am asking for a lot of money and it is not something that I have ever done before nor does the
request come easily for me. I have always worked hard to get everything that I have ever had and will
continue to do so as long as I am able to. I have spent the last four months diligently searching for a
solution to my need and have found nothing. The thought of being homeless is terrifying and I do not want
to be a number on some set of government statistics. I want to continue to be a contributing member of
my neighborhood, my community and society. My husband does not make as much as I do but he does
what he can to keep a roof over our heads. His salary is stretch far beyond the point of breaking. That's
why I take initiative in trying to bring in extra money to sustain my family. A few months ago we went to
the bank in hopes to consolidate our bills and to obtain a mortgage but we were turned down because our
monthly expenses far exceeded or income. So we continue to rent a small apartment that is barely enough
room for the three of us and soon to be four. I need to change my life/career style and not sure what to do
yet that will pull me away from the desk. As for my finances, I currently have one month left of funds in
my account to pay bills and live. I am not getting unemployment and have not other income. I am not
sure what you can do to help – I feel it does not hurt to ask since I have nowhere else to turn ( our services,
assistance ). I appreciate you taking the time to read this; hopefully it was not too long and painful.
